give it a go...

this is my first attempt at keeping a blog. i want to try my best to update as often as possible, but we'll see how it goes.

the past couple of days have been extremely busy trying to get everything ready for the baby. monday richie came over and helped us move the baby furniture into our room, which was not an easy task. i think the furniture we picked out was a bit too big for this one bedroom guest house we live in now, but after 3 hours or so we managed to fit it all in. we also got a new couch(finally!), our first in 2 years of being married. i bought a cover and a couple of pillows from target to match. now our house actually looks like a nice home! i love this nesting period.

yesterday i spent the day washing bed sheets for the nursery and putting away all of the baby clothes and all the other necessities. the "baby nook" looks quite cute. i don't have the wall decorations up yet, but i should have them within the next week. i'll post pictures once i get them on the computer.

today i spent time filling out the memory book which i enjoyed because it was much more relaxing. i also went to my ob appointment. the baby's head is down, but i'm not dilated yet. it's just the beginning!
